SURGE by Veiled Fitness is the next phase of muscle-strengthening for clients who are have participated in LAUNCH, and are familiar with technique and body weight manipulation. The class focuses on proper weight lifting form and will target different muscle groups in a two-day split format. This class requires a 12 week commitment as training will build upon exercises previously learned.
Since some training experience is required, it is best to have participated in LAUNCH and have received approval to continue onto SURGE. However, if you have not participated in LAUNCH and feel as though you are ready, it is best to schedule a consultation for evaluation.

A common misconception about strength training is that you will get bulky. Strength training works to improve physique, build lean muscle and make you stronger all the while reducing unwanted fat. Since muscle requires more energy to build and maintain, our resting Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) increases causing the body to burn more calories throughout the day. You will start to have more energy, feel more confident and a lot less stressed. Weight lifting with proper guidance can have other long term benefits such as increased bone density and decreased health risks such as Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
